The Logansport High School Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) has inducted sixty outstanding students into its prestigious ranks. Established in 1935 by then-principal Baird F. Cox, this chapter has a long tradition of recognizing student excellence. Cox, who served as principal from 1931 to 1940, laid the foundation for a lasting commitment to academic and leadership achievement at LHS.
Membership in the NHS at Logansport is open to qualified juniors and seniors. The NHS constitution outlines strict criteria for membership based on four pillars: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher to meet the scholarship requirement.
