Logansport High School's Speech Team demonstrated their prowess at the 2024 ISSDA State Tournament, hosted at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers. Competing in the AA Division against 62 other Indiana speech teams, Logansport secured an impressive 6th place.
The tournament featured formidable competition from 21 teams in each division (A, AA, AAA). Among the notable achievements for Logansport, several team members excelled in their respective categories.
Brooklyn Harris showcased her talent in Poetry, earning a spot as a Quarterfinalist (Top 24). Similarly, Trajan Skinner, Eli Bault, and Emily Sanchez displayed their skills in Radio, each securing a Quarterfinalist position.
Jasmine Zimmerman emerged as a standout performer, achieving the distinction of double Semifinalist (Top 12) in both Poetry and Program Oral Interpretation (POI).
